The Recap

Happy St. Paddy's Day to all! I wanted to take time to post a few things the went in the last couple of month's or so. I know I haven't been posting as often as I should (WOW addiction) but I still love City of Heroes and won't give it up. It's the people I play with that makes it so much fun.


This was an early Saturday morning AV fight. We have Valeska and Sword of Artemis putting the smackdown on Countess Crey. Valeska spoke sweet nothings to her minion to have him help us. We kicked her butt! It was an awesome fight.

Debt Bridage called out to all heroes to join them in Recluse Victory. Many answered the call. Thanks to all that did. Here we have Baba Kanoosh, Chaud Woman, Tech-Blade, and Sword trying to take out Mako. Fighting him and Ghost Widow was a challenge in itself. But then the villians joined in all the fun. It was a lag and slaughter fest. We didn't get any of the signature Villians but I still had fun.


Black Silk Rose finally ding 50! It's been a long hard road for this toon. Playing a defender, for me, was tough. It's only because of my playstyle & I haven't changed that too much. I came from a console gaming background of mostly shooters (HALO woot) and fighting games. City of Heroes is always a challenge because I am used to outthinking my opponent versus building a toon to withstand what my opponent may do to me. So being an Empathy brought a few obstacles I had to overcome especially after playing a scrapper. But that is all behind me now. I almost deleted this toon several times even with as high as she had gotten. But she hung on and has reached the final goal. Thanks to all that helped to achieve it.

Debt Brigade had a raid against their villian group Death Brigade. Here we all are planning our stragedy. From left to right it's Forty-six and two, Makin Debt, Calw veloce, Zandryne, and Hell Butterfly. Hell Butterfly is my Debt Brigade toon. It was alot of fun. The villains come in ready to fight. And it was a fight we gave them. These guys really go all out for the raids. I'm happy to be apart of it. I've learned alot. I hope to get this toon up and ready for by the next raid.

As a side note, Debt Brigade is recruiting right now. They are a great bunch of players and always having supergroup events. They have a blog. Azrhiaz and Chaud Woman are members of Debt Brigade that belong to the our board. The Debt Brigade has a 30 day kick policy and ask that you run in SG mode. Pretty easy to do I think. :)

Well there you have it. A recap of some of the events I was able to be apart of for the last couple of months or so. I know I haven't been COX as much. With real life and playing World of Warcraft, I've absolutely sucked at balancing it all. But I plan to do better. Unless I get an XBOX 360 then I'll really be absent. LOL

As for our base upgrade, we are almost there. I want to thank everyone for running in sg mode even for a little while. Every little bit counts. I've been thinking about not upgrading and just getting the 8 teleporter room. We have more than enough for that. That would put us at 12 teleports. I'll have to work it all out with the power and control. But it's an option.
